Hi Everyone,
As I have been reading many, many posts it seems there are many people who have false positive PET's after tx. Kevin is supposed to have his in March. That will be almost 5 months after his last chemo and RT.
My question is....does an MRI...

A PET scan will allow the doctor to see things like....
Many docs will do CT scans first things in 3D (not sure if CT or MRI is 3D).
A PET scan is much more expensive than a CT scan.
For osteoradionecrosis.

Last time I had one was 3 1/2 yrs ago and I was numb over a diagnosis of BC, so I do not remember much of that. I have had bone scans, abd CT's and other things. Help

Shows 2 spots in the liver, 1 lymph node above the liver, 1 node in the left axiall and 1 node (larger) above the pelvis. Then the 4cm lesion on my hip bone.
This are the preliminary results. Final will not be out til tomorrow. But I was not home from...

PET January 5 I have been on for 8mos.
I just finished round 4 of taxol (3 weeks on, 1 week off - started Nov 4) .
In the liver show up in my Oct 11 PET scan - wasn't expecting that at all, so really big whammy to deal with.

The pelvic CT shows a different story and that the PET turns out to be a totally unreliable of what is going.

All the scans+, HER2- I was diagnosed by biopsy, had lumpectomy and then CT scans, ECHO, MRI and bone scan....
Various testing: bone scan, pet scan, liver MRI and prior to surgery a breast ultrasound.

Hi was told yesterday 11/1 that I have colon cancer, have MRI and CT Scans arranged for next week. I have had Breast Cancer, Endometrial cancer, Lung cancer all unconnected and now this, but this is the one that scares me why?

Of size or stage, go on thursday 20th January have CT Scan at 2.30pm, MRI Scan at 4.00pm and Pet Scan testing.
