Hi ladies ,has anyone had a pet scan that has not been accurate?. I had one and the report says . The pet scan report did not mention anything about the lungs. Thank you all God Bless Liz Ead Dx 6/3/200... orders MRI.  However, PET/CT scans make take care of this 'non-specific' issue.  Am I right

But no overall PET or CT scan. Is everyone else getting whole upper body scans? My new oncologist ... without a whole upper body scan? If I hadn't done the extra chemo, I'd push for the extra scans...what there are symptoms. I had the bone and CT scans before treatment, but have not had a brain CT or MRI

Can MRI and bone scan be done on the same day? Would results be affected by doing one after that they see on MRI that are not on the PET? Also, are your PET scans combined with CT? Thanks... oncologist and have scans. They routinely will schedule bone scan, followed by PET scan, and...

I just got the results of my CT and MRI of my Sacrum. They both show a lesion approx 3 X 2cm a PET/CT scan. PET scans show areas of high metabolic activity. The idea is that since tumors... the differenceI had a PET scan and bone scan which confirmed a lesion about the same size as yours....

Hi ladies, Please help. My PET scan results came back OK except for two things noted: 1. A slightly radiologist "over" read the film but recommends a follow-up PET/CT scan in three months to monitor. 2 other scans prior to the PET/CT (except for a brain MRI while on Taxol, which gave me horrible headaches...
