E36, Difference between normal and M3 rear trailing arms? E36, Difference between normal and M3 rear trailing arms? As title says, is there a difference between those to? Longer/wider, or stuff like that? I have 2 of the M's laying around so want to know if it's the effort worth to replace them. Having just looked at a couple of pics on ebay, it looks like the hub shape is slightly different and I hear the bushes are slightly beefier/different, but certainly not worth the hassle in replacing them.

You could get some lightweight wheels or a shorter diff to make up the difference IMO I have a 95. Has about 15 ft/lbs of torque less than an S52, so the difference should't be too noticeable.

Replacing An E55 AMG with a M3? I'm thinking of replacing my W211 E55 AMG (500+hp, 560tq) with a CPO E92 M3 with DCT.
