E36, Difference between normal and M3 rear trailing arms? As title says, is there a difference between those to? Longer/wider, or stuff like that?
I have 2 of the M's laying around so want to know if it's the effort worth to replace them.

When in doubt - clutch kick.
Having just looked at a couple of pics on ebay, it looks like the hub shape is slightly different and I hear the bushes are slightly beefier/different, but certainly not worth the hassle in replacing them.

You could get some lightweight wheels or a shorter diff to make up the difference IMO I have a 95.
Has about 15 ft/lbs of torque less than an S52, so the difference should't be too noticeable.

Haven't really taken many pictures of my car since installing the Arkym Aero Carbon Fiber 1x1 Weave front lip and the Vorsteiner Type II Carbon Fiber 1x1 Weave Rear Diffuser. I think the E9X M3 just doesn't look quite complete without a lip and diffuser...

I'm thinking of replacing my W211 E55 AMG (500+hp, 560tq) with a CPO E92 M3 with DCT. I love everything about the M3 but the only thing I'm worried about is the actual straight line performance. I'm so used all the torque in the E55 that I'm not sure ...

Used MP (the new version) usually goes for $3000-$4000 and has a meter, while an M3 CLA'd (the full deal, new skin, curtains, etc.) can run $1200-1700 but no meter and limited framelines.
Would you go for the M3 and pocket the difference or the newer ...

The difference was giving insane rebates because of the economy (only reason I picked it over the M3).
Very good! I had spec'd out a pretty loaded MY2011 E92 M3 in anticipation of MY2012.
