Your images compiled into a TIFF format as that is industry standard when it comes to document and you'll end up with a fine digital copy of your family's chronic.

So, for things like movies and games, digital format has taken off in recent years through things like Steam. Still though, many people prefer discs for collections sake and for sentimental value. Where do you lie?

It is about pixel density..
It is not possible to compare 36 MP in a FX format with Medium Format.
It is like comparing 8 MP camera dell phone with a 8 MP DSRL sensor... a very very different thing..
