If there are any 95 to 97 Passat owners out there with successful radio recoding experiences I would like to hear your suggestions on exactly how to go about it.
I ran a post a few weeks ago asking about suggestions for simple replacement radios...

On or letting the radio sit for a couple hours does anything but get the word SAFE to display it safe mode every time it's removed or replaced.

I tried using the search feature but didn't find anything.
My girlfriend drives a 2000 Chevy Tahoe and the radio has been locked since i met her. She can't afford to bring it in to the dealer and have it reset [or refuses to pay what they're asking] so...
