I'm hoping to have my MK2 8v back on the road in a few months but I have a bit of a problem.

Personally I would just chuck a set of clocks in there and make a note of the date and mileage when... .
You won't get a knock for clocking a car, if you plan to sell it and don't make the buyer aware of the mileage issue thats when it becomes an illegal act .

You should expire that employee (IE, Set Employee.ActiveFlag = 0)
So if you had an internal_id (int) and did a (SELECT MAX(internal_Id) +1 FROM Employees WHERE Company_Id = [parameterCompanyID]... .
You should never delete a row from a relational database .

In the first case....
So this just chops off a single letter from the front of a string (if that letter is there more than once, it will cut off as many as there are)?
Since NSString is immutable, I don't there is a difference either way, performance wise .

For me not a problem....
There is no video.
The D700 doesn't have all the benefits of the D700 .
I've owned both and they are night and day.
Buy a D700.
There is no comparison.
I cant give too much advice but I personally would prefer the D700 over the D7000 .
