I have a web form with a button and a DetailsView control on it. In the button's click event I change the DetailsView control to insert mode so I can add records:
DetailsView1.ChangeMode(DetailsViewMode.Insert)
Everything works fine, except for a checkbox...

It may be getting hidden due to absolute positioning.
Also check that the width of the control is wide enough for all the controls and text .
Is the text in a Label that is in the item template? If so, you'd need to add it to the Edit Item Template .

The only way to circumvent this would be enlarging the area of the link using padding or a similar technique, thus delaying the "mouseout" event, but this is almost always impractical... .
Nope, this is entirely browser controlled and ranges from browser to browser .

So, not sure what is happening. But I have stored procedure and it keeps disappearing out of my DB in SQL 2k.
I can add it again and then try to execute it from my web app and i get an exception saying the stored procedure cant be found. So then ill go...

Make sure to add dbo.USP_Equipment_Delete to the code using it .
Perhaps the code to access the stored procedure is using a different context other than dbo .
Do you have a CREATE PROCEDURE anywhere? You can't ALTER a procedure if it doesn't exist .

I've downloaded the new firefox and have a close button on each tab until the number of tabs reaches a certain number.

That is likely why they disappear when you open.
The close buttons first if the tabs become too small .

I'm not sure what the proper term for the window outline is (chrome, I think?), but it keeps disappearing.
As you can see, theres no File->Exit or buttons that allow me to minimize or close this dialog. So instead it stays on top of everything else...

Double click an area of the window to go back to normal. .
It's called tiny footprint mode.
It's sort of a mini mode that's been available for many years .
Double click anywhere in the window and they will come back .

I know we had an issue with one of the versions of Norton Internet Security, which was stripping scripts out of our CMS pages for one particular client .
Check whether they have any internet security software installed, and if so, try disabling it .

I've seen a lot of IE6 bugs, but this one beats everything.
A page will display fine, but if I start loading a Table tag on the page sometime, most of the background images will disappear.
I'm not 100% sure that it's because of the Table tag per se, but...

Alternatively I would try having all the background-disappearing elements be declared in css by a class or id.
