Need to replace the front pads and discs,are oem best option? I have the vented and drilled discs and large brakes (same size as old s4). The set up seemed good for what I use it for, but wondered if a better option for the same money our less....

I've been looking into some of these and have a selection of bells and discs to fit inside 15" wheels.
Interestingly:
Brembo (2-piece) discs: designed for floating discs, 8 attachment points AP bells: designed for fixed discs, 12 attachment points PCD...

Also, suggest you trim back the 1x1's at the corners of the marquee so they don't cast square shadows on your marquee image... .
Space the control panel out further than the front of the cab or people will bump their head on the marquee .

Drobo did it somehow - i.e. they can mix and match multiple sizes of discs, as long as 2 biggest discs have the same size. Is there any solution for this type of storage, free, for Linux?

I didn't heard of any hardware....
Works lovely.
Each disk has raid partition of the same size, and mirrored using software raid .
For me, it's 2 hard disks, 250 and 200 GB .
Linux standard software raid can handle that.
The LVM HOWTO should be helpful.

I know both Ultimate and Professional SKUs include both 32 and 64 bit install discs, but I'm not sure about the Home Premium SKU. Can anyone verify?

Wouldn't waste my time putting disc is a stronger axle capable of handling larger tires and more abuse.

What is the difference between DVD-R and DVD+R discs?
I usually buy DVD+R just because it's a plus. Does it make difference for archivists? The price is almost the same for both formats.

DVD for General): can record up to 4.....
Modern drives (certainly at time of writing in 2007) typically allow writing to both DVD-R[W] and DVD+R[W] discs making the difference largely irrelevant to the average consumer.
Favour DVD-R discs.

Alternatively check with them....
This will not be the same as the official Toshiba discs but will be a step new recovery discs if you provide proof of purchase for Windows 7 and it is supported on your particular model.
