I have 3 herniated discs in my back and have been trying to exercise. first i did zumba dance which my doctor nearly had a heart attack over so i started walking and it hurts like crazy, is this pain ever going to go away?

The difference between bulging and herniated disk is the distance it is sticking out from the bone just to clarify. herniated is when it sticks out past some fibers around the backbone.
tell me what physical therapy worked for you. were you able or not...

1st surgery 2 bulging discs L3 & L4 for 20 years until have surgery or a bad disc....
2nd surgery due to herniated/ruptured disc L5/S1I think you have seen/read some of mine.
Discomfort but 100% due to me not getting back in shape .

My MRI results show a slight bulge in a disc in my lower back. it took us a month to track it down. as i explained to my doc, on a scale of 1-10, the pain i experience is only a 3 or so, when i do experience it. he wrote me a perscription for 6 weeks ...

Well, I have a an l5 herniated disc in my lower back. Confirmed by an MRI. I think this all started a few months ago while I was having those digestive problems. The disc is pushing on my nerves/nerve root in my back on the left hand side of that disc...

Do you mean bulging discs or herniated Herniated nucleus pulposus /protruded discs??? There is a big difference & alot of times the terminology is tricky. Bulging discs are not really significant & pretty common even without pain, but herniations or protrusions...

I've had some pretty bad lower back pain for the last 6 months. I finally got a CT scan, and they found 2 bulging discs in my lower back. I'm only 32 yrs old, so they don't want to do surgury. Has anyone else had to deal with this.
