I cant help wondering if AD & Dementia are no longer now related to the elderly, in the past we always thought of these diseases as 'senile' and only old people developed them.
I keep reading that AD & dementia now affects people in their 50's & even ...

A lot of waterborne diseases that cause gastrointestinal of water and electroytes.

Smallpox seems to me the most high-profile lethal epidemic that was ended in the 20th century thanks to international efforts. Why haven't more diseases been ended in its fashion? Like malaria for instance?

IMO there's three reasons diseases and not given the $$$ and effort to eradicate them as we would other diseases.
There's several reasons more diseases aren't eradicated a la smallpox.
