You can make sure the "knock out" on the disposal is open.
Sometimes the inlet for the dishwasher isn't broken out on the disposer.

I checked the filter system and didn't find anything.
The drain line looks just like the old one did.
From the pic it look like its a few days ago .
That unit comes with a 92" drain hose.

IF the sink had a proper....
First you have to find out WHY the pipe stays full of water, and then fix it .
I assume that is an AAV behind the sink, and your drain line may be obstructed, (but is full and the sink cannot drain.

Check timer for not letting the dishwasher pause.
The pump out make sure the dishwasher is pausing between the wash and drain cycles letting the pump/motor reverse for the drain cycle.

The drain pump hasCould be something caught in the drain pump or the pump could have simply failed and needs to be replaced.
The only reason to be inside the dishwasher is to get the water out.

Anyone else have this happen? A couple of weeks ago our one year old dishwasher motor started to get increasingly louder--to the point of sounding ridiculous compared to its quiet old self. I think the noise is mostly when draining. Any ideas?
