I just downloaded and learned helios yesterday and realized why ICE Maker provided easy monitor setup. As far as I can read it isn't compatible with 1.1.1.0 so I didn't download it. As I started to try to align my exported indicators to a helios profile...

I've created a mock up off dials and the UFC etc and now want to get DCS to recognise it. I've looked through the manual and can't seem to find where it says I can do this.
Any help please?

Check out your profile options in the editor and there should be an option to configure HELIOS in the DCS folder (along those lines) as well....
I know the answer to this but don't know how to answer without having HELIOS open in front of me.

display may help, thats if throttle curve is set to max power at hardly any throttle anyway.

I've never flown any of the other virtual rotary wings, but maybe you're approaching it wrong .
I get it to less than 4kph drift b4 I engage it .
You have to have it pretty well trimmed for hover before it will auto hover .
