Seems like there should be a simple solution to this problem, but I've spent way too much time trying to find it.
I just want to do two things:
1. Download some Youtube videos and put them on a disc that can be read by a typical DVD player.

Some cannot read any burned disks....
You might wind up going through a lot of different makes of blank DVDs, and even then find that some brands work in some DVD players while other.
Writable DVDs that can be read by DVD players universally.
