DIY tap tempo help just built a tap tempo box out of radio shack parts and it works great. here's the problem i wired up two inputs so i can tap a dd20 and a shape shifter w/ added tt jack from the same switch. it works great if i have one or the other...

Sounds like it would serve your needs nicely.
5 of the bays are hot-swap as well.
If you want to go with the Mini ITX form factor, this case will fit 7 3.5" HDDs and 1 2.5" HDD, or 5 3.5" + 3 2.5" drives .
