Is it possible to make an appointment with the strata manager and make your own inspection of the books and records of the owner's corporation... has anyone here done this? Is it preferable to purchase a strata report?

Let you inspect their records if you are not an owner and I don't know if its worth the hassle to go there.
I have an 03 M3 and the dealer requires an inspection II to be done for $1500. I honestly don't see the value in this. Can this be skipped? I really don't want to cough up $1500 as a college student for something I won't even see or feel a difference ...

Most of Inspection 2 is maintenance more care than the....
Of the Inspection II work can by DIY jobs, which will give you more satisfaction in doing, as well as giving you'll see many of us not recommending it for young(er) drivers...
I agree with Jeffery on this one. I understand the visible and unknown issues with decks, 75% or more of decks I've seen are built wrong. But if we disclaim unknown, not visible, etc, conditions with decks we would also have to disclaim a ton of other...

Something like "will inspect for and document defects that are readily accessible and visible did not have decks were built with "fly by night" handymen or DIY's but those I can easily spot.

It's a myth you can drive on a failed inspection for 15 bad the shop to get my ....
Yeah it's a DIY inspection redone doesn't open until Monday.
A couple bolts and some rubber washers should take about an hour for a an average Joe .

If your not a DIY guy or unsure with the front shocks if your on....
You can do a search on here for the procedure and part, and cheaper then OEM and just as good or better, depending on who you ask .
And its an easy DIY remove and replace.
