DIY inlet manifold for ITB's! anyone had a go at this? im tempted to try it! would be interesting to know how people got on / what materials they used etc

Tom's GTi with DIY ITBs I thougt I'd share a bit of info about my car, including how I built my ITB setup. It's not super JDM but I like to think is a bit unique.

Im not trying to sound like an ass here but im sure i will but one minute i get the feeling you might pull this off and it will be awesome. The next minute i get the impression that you have absolutely no clue what you are doing your just ordering parts...

If this will help you at all but here is a picture of a GE with ITB's i found on the celicasupra forum with the ITB's, i havent really looked much but it does mention 53mm ITB's for the 2jz so if you search for some kind of DIY....

So yeah guys after pondering for years should I do it , I decided to I hit the mid 14sec mark which was my goal for F-series 8v.

I ran fixes mixes that were entirely ITB recently and found I liked the result better a $4k chain for my 2buss that I'm quite proud....
I'll run them through their paces genres.
Not sure about line level.
