Those look sweet! i might buy my old civic back from my boss. he's going back to New Zealand in January and he wants $2k less than what i sold it to him for. of course, i parted out my retro, so i'll have to do another then. was thinking some brand new...

I swapped on brand new shrouds and lens covers, went back of the shroud isnt great and the park....
Not everything, but they are much better.
They are bright but not crazy due to the lens housing blocking alot.
Cool white like a fluorescent.

Hello, This is my DIY CIH upgrade solution for my 10 years projector & screen.
Here is my previous projector (Sony VPH-1001QM) and screen (200 cm in width). My room's width is about 330 cm (pls. ignore other messy stuff in my room )

Aiming should be done before the lens is re-sealed (as desribed in the how-to).

If you dont get it right you WILL crack the lens.

I've read a lot of very helpful posts regarding 2.35, but I still have one question. Is anyone using lens memory for 2.35 rather than an anamorphic lens? What's the downside of doing so?
