So I am picking up my first M3 shortly (within the next week or two), and one of the first modifications I must do is to the headlamps. I want to get all the lumens I possibly can without retrofitting new projectors in. So I'm going with Morimoto...

I didn't want to start a new thread but I just wanted to make sure I understand the true facts before I go and take apart/ruin my headlight. Getting a whiter and brighter headlight means using a higher temperature bulb or installing projectors?

There is a shield inside the projector, that cuts off the light at a certain point so as not to blind other drivers.

I have the projector mounted (from the lens, not center of PJ) 185" from the wall (just measured the projector centered on the screen (and thus lens surface parallel to screen).
