Hi, my name is Niklas, I'm from northern Sweden and this is my first post in this forum.
I'm starting again in the hifi hobby, have been away from this 15 years.
I am planning to make 4pcs of Aleph-30 monoblocks to drive my Linn Keilidh's in active mode...

Perhaps one per channel? I'm very honored to get an ansver from you Nelson!
As I'm building monoblocks I was planning one toroid per channel, but perhaps you're saying that I need one per rail, ie 2pcs transformers... .
It will be running close to its VA rating.

NP posted this up on his First Watt site: F5 Turbo . This will give new dimensions to his excellent F5 design, in that, the amount of power can be extended up to 1000w./ch. !
I am still looking over the changes to see what I can do with the still unbuilt...

Dear diyaudio members!
I have to confess you, that I am an ordinary damn lying !!!
I haven't got a CD-Player with upscaling,
just a MP3-Player from my uncle (a present for my 13th birthday last year).

My Threshold SL10 Mk 1 was finally taken out of the cupboard to fit new caps
and replace the J505 constant current diodes and 2N172 Mosfets as the pins were showing signs of corrosion. This was an ideal time to trace out the circuit which is presented...

Hey All,
I'm a total newbie to the DIYAudio world, so my apologies if the answer to this is obvious:
I want to build a unit with 4 XLR inputs (2 sets of L+R), 2 XLR outputs, and be able to switch between the 2 sets of L+R inputs. Make sense?
At first ...

Else you could use relays? Do you need to switch quickly? If not, what about a patch bay? Something like this?
http://www... .
Maybe in rotary form.
Does such a thing exist? I don't know.
You need an 8 pole 2 way switch.
XLR inputs means 8 lines to switch.

I was looking around DIYAudio and I am interested in these horns and waveguides that Autotech is making. They are very reasonably priced and seem pretty cool. Here is a link to a pdf http://www.autotech.pl/pdf/audio_en.pdf and some photos.
So my question...

1) Significant mismatch....
Two big issues with making this into a two-way come to mind .
I also ordered a pair of Iwata 300hz to play with .
I have an 18" SEOS pair en-route to me.
I was partly responsible for the design of the SEOS waveguides they are producing .
