I have home movies that I want to play on my Tivo. However, they are stored on a 250B SimpleShare network attached storage drive.
Is it possible to get this drive to work with Tivo so I can view the home movies on my Tivo Series 3 HD?
Please let me know...

Or buy a Netgear ReadyNAS which now has TiVo HMO built into its DLNA server making it all work!

Duftopia If it supports TiVo, turn on the DLNA server using it's web in the folders the DLNA....

So I am considering putting a new tv in a second living room with a tivo...however the only reason I want the tivo is for the ability to transfer shows from the tivo HD which is in the main viewing area.
I don't record a bunch of shows, so I don't need...

I'm in the UK and have just subscribed to the Virgin TIVO box.
I've read many comments regarding the TIVO box and how it can be accessed by the ReadyNas ULTRA series etc.

I just bought the WNDR3800 netgear premium edition router. It says it has support for tivo extended storage. i have a 640 gb wd external hd connected to the router. i have the box checked that says enable tivo extended storage. i have two tivo premieres...

It says you can save recordings to the USB unit attached to it and then Stream them on the Tivo....
("Enable DLNA Server" followed by "Enable TiVo of the Tivo works.
It's just an extra-fancy DLNA server.
Desktop, that's all.
