I just bought a used D300.
Is there a consensus on the best fit cards for the D300?
A nice sweet spot card? 4 or 8 gb will work.
I've always liked Sandisk and Lexar, but some of the newer (faster?) cards are not listed on the approved list in the User...

I think the size card is just a matter of personal of the card doesn't really matter that....
I also have the 8 GB cards as well.
I use Lexar Pro 400x 16GB UDMA myself.

IMHO there is no better name in SD cards than San Disk, I do have some knock off batteries - my FS100 doesn't seem to have any trouble with them it seems this camera doesn't want to accept non-original....
I have used Transcend and SanDisk.

Depends if you limits you.
I use two 32GB Sandisk Extreme 60MB/s cards and they work perfectly for both high-FPS stills
Whilst it doesn't have the 7D explicitly, I'd expect results to be similar to the 5D2.
