Do dogs know other dogs are dogs? My dog chases and attacks squirrels, cats, raccoon, rats, etc. But when he sees a dog that is the size of a cat or something, he doesn't attack it.

My husband's family has a small cabin that we visit every summer for a week. We have a rescue dog and two kids (one almost three and one 5 month old baby). Our dog is fearful of other dogs, and has been in a number of fights with other dogs. We do fine...

If it's okay for you to bring your dog, it doesn't seem right that you say he has to leave HIS dogs at home, especially since YOUR dog is dog aggressive.

If my dog is tied up on my property and another dog comes to my dog to fight and my dog kills him can ? I get sued or something like this? I wasn't aware of this happening... I came out because I heard growling but by then my dog had killed this other...

Do not cover the puncture wound and make sure you keep the other dog away.
There are ER vets if it is after hours on it .
It as it is necessary nd get the dog to a vet.

Obviously shooting and dog ownership are closely linked, but i wondered how many shooters dont have a dog or dogs. Although i like some dogs i am not a dog owner, never have been and dont ever want to be. I reckon 75% of people on here have dogs!
