If my dog is tied up on my property and another dog comes to my dog to fight and my dog kills him can ? I get sued or something like this? I wasn't aware of this happening... I came out because I heard growling but by then my dog had killed this other...

But a judge may order a fence placed, the dog contained, and a sign warning, it depends, it might be someones dog.
In my state I would say no.

Do dogs know other dogs are dogs? My dog chases and attacks squirrels, cats, raccoon, rats, etc. But when he sees a dog that is the size of a cat or something, he doesn't attack it.
