Last time I went to donate blood, they tried to convince me to become a plasma donor. Does anyone do it? Pros/Cons? Obviously the ARCBS only tell you the pros.

It takes many blood donations to get 1 viable platelet directly saves lives, in a way that money can....
And plasma is the only way people will get it, until some artificial blood substitute is made, never get wasted and are in huge demand.

Anyone have any experiences? Currently strapped for cash and looking for easy money. Offered selling semen, but the gf wasnt happy about it. However, also terrified of needles. Docs apointments are bad enough as is, doesnt help the blood/plasma needle...
