What can be done in VC++ (native) that can't be done with VC#?
From what I can tell the only thing worth using VC++ native for is when you need to manage memory yourself instead of the CLR garbage collector, which I haven't seen a purpose in doing either...

What, specifically, can be done in Windows 7 that cannot be done in Windows XP?

Little, and the much better support for dual monitor systems, things that on XP had to be done with third party.
They do get work done a lot faster.
Has a programmer mode and works so much better).

I also write tools which automate many parts of my task list so that i can automatically run sanity checks every time i am ready... .
I keep a note which floats on my desktop with a list of tasks i need to do before i check in every bug fix or module of code .

I've been recently wondering about the over-proliferation of DSLs like R - and thinking whether this is good or bad. Specifically, I wonder what right has R as a stand-alone language and environment? Wouldn't it be much better to build it as an internal...

Probably anything that can be done in R can be done in python.
Lastly, the CRAN Task Views also give a nice overview of what is being done with R written or conceived for that purpose.

I was told that conceving for us would not be easy. I have been on Metformin for over 6 months now and it didn't help so my next thing to do is a HSG (hysterosalpingography) procedure done. Has anyone else had to have this done? I am alittle scared but...
