For years, I have used nothing but a small tube of silicone grease to keep door seals conditioned.
I use it in the fall or early winter. Wipe down door seals with damp rag beforehand to get all the dirt and gunk off before applying any silicone.

Esp in winter.
Heavy grease is a no no for door locks.
For hinges I spray some PB Blaster silicone lube.
For door locks I just spray something.
Usually I apply it after waxing the car.
Or something similar.

I just acquired an 1998 F150 XLT with electric door locks. However there were no remote door lock fobs with the keys. How do I find out if the truck is equipped for the remote locks and it not equipped, can I add this feature?
