My Plasma Speaker! G'day,
Bought this kit off eBay last month.
What is a plasma speaker you say?
It modulates a audio signal into HV at the same frequency which does 2 things, gives off nice little arcs & amplifies the audio signal!

I came to the conclusion, last night, that I fall asleep watching movies when I can't hear the dialogue.
Our Panasonic plasma has the speakers pointing down at the carpet so it is not surprising the sound is muffled. I boost it with a four speaker surround...

I've of the time (maybe 30-40%).
It sounds like your situation isn't full-daylight, so I'd go with the Panasonic VT or GT series plasma.
In my mind plasma is the go-to choice with the single exception of a very bright room.

In my experience most plasma TVs discharge the capacitors in a few seconds, when they are faulty this thread!
I have a similar TV but in a 50" (Samsung plasma) and the sound works but video doesn't, closest to the power cable, there is ....

When you click every single 3D active set does 120FPS including LCD, and Panasonic plasma would be nothing special in that regard....
