USA wrestling runs the most organized double elimination tourneys with thousands of competitors.
there are no excuses for running a single elim tourney (other than ignorance or laziness)

Double Elim takes way too long...
It takes too long.
For sure I would rather it be double elimination so I don't potentially lose $80 in 30 seconds yeah, that's why.

Dunno about double elimination, it would be nice if tournaments were you don't have to qualify like....
And I definitely wish the IBJJF would use double elim any day of the week.
