Anyway, we worked as if I was going to continue in the hunters, but I did a dressage schooling show to see how from time to time.
To be primarily a dressage person, although she has also done the hunters and was fine for that.

Dressage either one is perfectly acceptable! I have a black saddle and a brown bridle, it doesn't make any difference :) Affiliated dressage black seems to be the 'norm at county level in black tack.
It matters that much.
