I love ice fishing,but I also realized that the ice wont be thick enough to drive on anytime soon. So, walking is slow but it safer. I walk a lot while fishing. This might be the first year Ive lost weight in the winter. Its a good, bad thing this year...

From the point I drive onto the ice to where I fish so it's safer for me to drive than walk before that was a great freeze (crazy cold) - I'm okay with a mild winter this year (I only walk anyhow, to my spots), it saves on....
U Up until last November we coldn`t get Mum out into the secure garden in the EMI, she would only leave her flat to go to the dining room, then suddenly overnight, she was walking and walking out of the semi-secure unit, out through fire exits and followed...

When he was unable to walk.
Was walk with him or put him in a wheelchair to make sure he was safe and didn't fall xxxe One way., , resulting in black eyes, gashes, bruised ribs, a broken toe etc., etc.
I dont know if its safe or how thick is the ice to be driving on it can some one tell me. Cause i dont see any one driving around.

NO! Do sure it's perfectly safe! We One week ago someone proved that you couldn't drive a semi truck all the ice has taken a beating....
Have to be safe.
Or I drive and stop and drill holes ahead of me to check ice.

Warning - Drive safe !! Its a total mess out there. From Bedford to Sackville the 102 is gridlocked. Saw at least five vehicles off the road and two 18 wheelers jacknifed on the highway. The roads are VERY slippery !

I find unplowed side roads much easier....

The drive home sucked big time.
I have a Twitter list of all reasonable explanation why nothing has been plowed, yet .

I can be dangerous - mainly pulled over - never had anyone challenge... .
What we did not do is drive at night.
I qualify this in several ways it in the Drakensberg Mountains .
Is it safe? - yes, probably.
Few years, and learnt to drive here.
It's exactly what it says, "No ice is ever safe". The only way to learn is to gain knowledge by experiencing things for yourself and not a false sense of security by someone on the internet saying, "sure you are fine". You are never entirely 100% fine...

Dude, if you have to ask that question it's probably best if you don't drive on the ice.
No one on here is gonna tell you "yeah the ice is safe go ahead and drive out it on lake o'dowd.
Arent getting it.
