Just got back last Saturday from Playa. My wife and I did a day trip to Akumal, on the way there had the taxi driver stop at Soriana so we could pick up some tanning products.
Anyway, my wife went in to make the purchase while I waited outside. Fast forward...

Nothing to gain from someone stealing an out-of-country driver's license; it's not like, but her credit card was neatly tucked in the purse so I assumed the license would have been put away there as well.

My son's wallet was stolen on his way from Eilat to Egypt a few days ago. We immediately canceled the check-card/debit cards and VISA. Fortunately, he had his passport separate as well as a few traveler's checks. I'm wondering what others would recommend...
