Hi everybody,
i'm trying to find a SATA Controller that has a PCI-E connecction of at least 4x, and has also at least 4 channels for SATA disks. I need it to make a real raid 5 system, the fakeraid on my motherboard is absolutely crap.

I used it successfully in Windows XP and Vista, though they were very late to the game with Vista drivers/products/images....
Is the 8 port version of the SATA II card.

Are you using a Vista DVD drive, (the one where the failed Vista install is), perform a quick format, then continue on with the install?

Installation disc with your version of XP and the SATA driver in it so you don't need to press F6 !
The motherboard's bios DOES NOT require that drivers be installed in order for it to detect a SATA loaded from the CD not ....

ATI RV370 drivers Can I install video drivers for my ATI RV 370 video card? The generic drivers with Windows 8 make the fonts pixelated. Maybe the correct drivers would sharpen them up.
