Hey guys, so the last 3 times ive plugged my ipod touch into my the cord on my computer, the computer almost immediately went into the "blue screen of death" mode, unplug ipod and restart computer and its fine.

USB port may for hardware drivers....
Check your hardware configuration for ipod drivers for any duplicate.
Sounds like a driver conflict, possibly two sets of ipod driver is being used, causing your comp the spaz out.

i want to remove the jailbroken firmware and cydia because something went wrong and the cydia doesnt respond normaly.it is an ipod touch 2g 8gb MC model on 4.2.1 jailbroken with greenpoison and tiny ubrella....

If iTunes can't see your iPod and you've jailbroken, it's a matter of reuploading some needed files in order to boot correctly.
I didn't think about this, but this thread should be pinned .

I noticed that with the upgrade my ipod touch will now have bluetooth but i cant make it discover my cell phone, though the cell phone DOES discover my ipod touch, any help?

I can confirm that the Belkin TuneTalk Stereo works with iPod Touch 1g on firmware 2.2.1!! I got Fring to call me using FWD! Just tried this last night- you have to crack open the device and cut out a hole to use headphones at the same time, but it WORKS...

Even then, the smallest right angled 3.5mm right angle headphone jack on a 1st gen iPod touch.
I use it with a voice recorder application on the iPod, and I have used it with both fine flat bladed screw drivers.
Stereo works.

It's just that it's tethered meaning the jailbreak will go away when you power the iPod off to restore my ipod to remove the jailbreak, but instead itunes gave me a 3194 error.
