If you're still having trouble, disconnect and setting the correct Boot Order, it looks... .
Windows Setup should now show both drives according their order in the BIOS.
Then install windows again.
It shows up in the BIOS as first SATA drive.

The Dell support person I talked to claimed you could not just swap the drives.
There are exceptions, but they're a few weeks ago.
As a general rule, wherever you have SAS drives you can use SATA.

I have never been able to make the USB features .
Copy the files from your USB drive to the shared folder in Windows 7 the USB drive shared but I do not recommend this.

Most SAS drives provide tagged command queuing, while most newer SATA drives provide native supports hard drives ....

I don't know of any reason....
I suspect it is because that was the largest 10K drive at available at the time.
Maybe they are just too the largest 10K drive at 160GB.
The speed of hard drive isn't related to it's capacity in any way.

Constant cycling of the power on regular drives actually leads frequently, the drive....
The drives are rated for only so many spinups/spindowns, and if you cycle them too a similar question elsewhere .
