It helps. A lot! I just had a chance to test out my drum dial and got drums tuned really nice for the first time. Toms with 57s on them sound huge.

What were your methods? I just tuned the drum to the pitch I was looking for, then used the dial at each lug to adjust, I guess I am just excited to be getting....
I purchased a drum dial a long time ago and never seemed to be happy with it...

Drum machines: Korg Electribe ER-1, Boss to track the drum machine....
They just tracked the drum machine (the rest of the song as well) live.

Does anyone have both to compare? I have SSD 3.5 and it serves well for a certain king of mix but I use Addictive Drums for a very natural, mildly processed kit sound. Any informed opinions are welcome.

IMHO best drum samples are Superior Drummer (Especially for Metal with metal foundry).
Is the best drum sample library I've ever used and triggers from my Roland TD-8 better than anything else.
