JR The top of the line V Drums would be sure to monitor the drums from the Roland drum brain to prevent latency issues.
A drum kit and can take a while to get your head around.

If you have Pro Drums capability, do you play regular drums anymore? That is, if you have cymbal packs, or Ion Drum Rocker, or Logitech with cymbals, etc., do you play regular 4 pad with pedal charts anymore? I have seen my Pro Dums scores go way past...

The only time I switched....
Only RBN songs without pro-drums (and not even the cymbals.
The only reason I have the standard drum goals completed that I do are due to the fact on a few RBN songs that do not have proper cymbal charting.

I haven't used Addictive Drums but there should def be a remap key so you should be able to make any pad.
Looked at the e drums manual? There might be a special switch or function to activate MIDI.

I am about to put new shoes and brand new drums from
"Chevs of the 40s." I have the shoes on, however, the
drums are about 5/16" too thick. I am planning on having
a machinist shave off the 5/16". Is this OK?

Guru drums Definitely and they all do the job.
There are a lot of really good drum kits outPerhaps Ludwig, gretsch, DW?? In the end it's all personal choice, of course.
Brand of drums are like the greatest.

Heres a track im working on. Ive been working ONLY on the drums for the 2 days.
I like the pattern and all but I'm having loads of trouble making the drums sounds huge, and amazing.

After installing the disc conversion i now need to increase the rear track to match.I have a full set of drums to suit is it easier to replace the whole lot or are there certain bits i just need to swap over?
Any advice much appreciated

You only need to change over to the longer wheel studs, fit the drums and longer drum retaining the long studs in the hub and locate them snugly in the holes by hand, then put the drum over the hub.
