I am told that I do not have glaucoma, retinopathy, cataracts in fact no definitive eye disorder. Yet, every day, I suffer from blurred vision to both near and far sight. Advice from members has suggested that this may vary according to my blood sugar...

I have been wearing contacts for 6 years now and I cannot find one that is comfortable. My eyes are REALLY dry all of the time and the contacts hurt even right when I put them in in the morning. I NEVER sleep in them.

You use for remedies is to find out what is causing dry eyes and to treat the cause.
Also if you don't want to go to the doctor you could try the eye ointments.

Question about dry eyes? I suffer from dry eyes which sometimes results in me getting an eye ulcer. Has anyone found any thing that they can do to help with this condition? I do have meds but just wondered hoe other people cope with it.

There are some new medications that might be of help to you (lubricating eye drops with 1% concentration) and use big size eye glasses to coverd your eyes and at night examination.
Talk to you eye doctor about this.
