I have to build a garage before I start any projects. Don't want to use house garage. Too small.
Any ideas on what I should do to make a garage for projects and restorations?
My buddy has a whole bunch of steel beams that he told me I should sink into...

I have steel siding inside and out....
Insulation.
We're in a Quonset hut style building which is nice .
I have an overhead beam with a pulley hoist, it is awesome if you can do one.
hoist also....mine will hold 5000 that sure makes it nice..

You got 4 more feet than me. lol I had to go 24 X 36 with the new shed. Only so much land and money. Got it about half finshed inside now. Isulation and drywall. You can never have a big ehough shed, not when you have a full blown addition to old junk...

Heres my issue:
I have a two story house. The seal in one of the toilets upstairs let loose (not the one for the floor...the one between tank and bowl). I got that fixed but not before a lot of water hit the floor.
Now I have a pretty damn big water mark...

Then spray....
Personally I like to just remove it and then repair the drywall as needed plastic over the entire floor area.
After it has totally dried you can then tape off to the ceiling .
A 6 inch drywall knife to scrape off all the popcorn.

Looking at Menards pole barn kits. Surprised a lot of them have their truss spacing at 8ft. and 9ft. oc's. Is this standard practice and spacing.

Ceiling height and still use a hoist as I can place it in between trusses? Appreciate the input gentlemen! I'm not sure I understand....
For drywall ceilings, the trusses need to be spaced at 2' unless the drywall is going to be attached.
