You should know that in Dubai only 15 percent of the population is Emirati so probably....
Generally in the Middle East you should be quite careful photographing their women .

I have never heard of a terror attack in Dubai...or even a threat of it...or seen hotels taking precautions. How come? Don't they stray from what militant islamists would view as "pure" islam?

Intoxication is illegal in Muslim Dubai, although no local authorities were involved in this incident the articles before making any comment.
