I have an extended family members laptop to fix...lucky me. It's a HP pavilion dv5000 with windows xp pro. It has got some serious bugs. My problem is that I cant download any thing because IE 7 is some what dorked up. They have google set as home page...

A couple of days ago, I started getting a "USB Device Not Recognized" error with my two USB 2.0 ports from devices that previously worked for those ports (e.g. my mouse and flash drive). They're still working on my USB 3.0 port, but not the two USB...
