Is there a portable DVD player that can also play DVDs on a television or computer? I'm about two decades behind the rest of the world in technology know-how. I'd like to get a portable DVD player, and am wondering if there are any that can also be hooked...

Computers are the same way: pop the disk in the DVD drive and software ....
Frankly - most people have their own dedicated DVD player or BluRay player so it is much easier to just put the disk in the non-portable box.

My Panasonic DVD Freeview Writer plays DVDs to my Panasonic TXL3710g10b pretty disappointingly if I'm honest. Nothing special.
If I get a Panasonic Blu Ray DMP-BD345 and play the same DVD - will it be better.

So I still don't get it.
In order for RealPlayer to play DVDs or VOB files, you must first and dvd player...but the recipients could get them to play in NEITHER.

Sometimes, it is just the menus.
DVDs play in some DVD players and computers, but not others.

It will not play on your DVD player.
It work on anything but perhaps your computer.
