I have a DVD that I'd like to watch on my iPod touch. Can I use normal PC ripping software or is there something special I need to do to get iTunes to sync it to my iPod?

i did buy ROXIO easy video copy & convert
i tried to do dvd to ipod touch i did select the dvd
in converted something
no problem
i did click on the ipod touch logo thingy
i tried to save to Itunes
nothing same as with...
