Microsoft will not let C++/CLI die, at least in near future.
I think YES , its dying , actually it already died ;) , coz there arent lots of people who use prefer to choose either native C++ or C#.

If the customer can handle the program dying and they can restart it, so be it.
Letting the program die in front of a user, however? It all comes back to that.

I'm real interested in using SubSonic, I've downloaded it and I'm enjoying it so far, but looking at the activity on github and googlegroups it doesn't seem to be very active and looks a lot like a project that's dying. There's no videos about it on tekpub...

Open Source projects are incapable of dying if they were born in a fit of inspiration and people into the little amounts of freetime I have....
The best place to see the activity is on the Github site itself .

Just checking....but the servers have been activated, right? Any antivirus on the host OS? AV software with "live scanning" can cause problems but I'd imagine you'd have found that quicker as it's quite a known thing. .
