What are signs that software is dying?
How does a developer find early warnings to save a piece of software from dying?
From user perspective, I think it is pretty clear - What they can not use efficiently, they will trash.
Apart from this the software...

I heard somewhere that Microsoft will be focusing their efforts on C# rather than C++ for the .NET platform. I can see signs of this being true because of the GUI designer that was available for C# but not C++.
So I would like to know if C++ in .NET is...

Microsoft will not let C++/CLI die, at least in near future.
I think YES , its dying , actually it already died ;) , coz there arent lots of people who use prefer to choose either native C++ or C#.

Recently I attended Jeffrey Richter's training courses about .NET. He mentions one strategy of coding "Dying is awesome". That is, don't write "catch (Exception ex)" even at the root of program or event loop. If some exception thrown that is not handled...

Letting the program die in front of a user, however?
It all comes back to that.

I'm real interested in using SubSonic, I've downloaded it and I'm enjoying it so far, but looking at the activity on github and googlegroups it doesn't seem to be very active and looks a lot like a project that's dying. There's no videos about it on tekpub...

Open Source projects are incapable of dying if they were born in a fit of inspiration and people into the little amounts of freetime I have....

Any antivirus on the host OS? AV software with "live scanning" can cause problems but I'd imagine you'd have found that quicker as it's quite a known thing. .

Can you give some more information? Do you have a filter? Is your aquarium fully cycled? What other species are you keeping? How old are they?
Typically, side swimming can indicate a problem with the water, such as a waste or poison .
