I think you have a couple of options:
(1) Sign on with a web hosting company which gives you ssh access and the ability to tweak your own mail settings.

We currently have a provider that we use to primarily forward our e-mails to both a hosted Exchange site and to outside e-mail addresses. We have a large # of forwards set-up (maybe 500). They work fine for us but the bandwidth costs are a getting pretty...

Most shared hosting companies have inexpensive plans that offer unlimited email forwarders.

I am pretty sure that the entry level is to select port 25 instead of the default port number for the outgoing mail SMTP server setup need to contact Technical Support....

You will need to treat your Postfix box, configure the IMC to deliver... .
If both of these mail servers are behind a NAT mail servers is in the design limitations of Exchange.
Can send e-mail in from the outside without error.

My operator allows me to forward all SMS to an e-mail address, at the switch - but this is really great for those who can't.

I don't know any other ambiguous....
I can just go to an icom on my taskbar to open my e-mail.
I do not have to open my web browser, which is IE .
The desktop email client? I think I mean desktop e-mail client.

When I get an e-mail with pictures on it with the writing under the pic's, it is alright. But when i forward that same e-mail, the recipent on the other end gets the e-mail with the pictures going across the top of the e-mail with no writing under them...
