The parts that been changed/verified:
-DISA valve - changed
-PCV valve and host - changed
-ICV valve - changed
-Injectors - verified and cleaned
-Cam shaft sensor - changed
-Vaccum hoses from the fuel regulator - changed

There should be two kinda wrapped together, sometimes they can get soft and rib under that cover and start sucking air in... .
Just a hunch since I had a buddy whose 99 316i did the same thing: Check the crank case hose from the valve cover to the breather .

Did the last production year of the e46 M3 offer anything special during its production like a special edition or special options midway? I'm looking to order a 2013 e92 M3 and am wondering if historically BMW has presented any surprises along the way...

Typically 7" width E46 alloys will fit a 1 series, but 8" width will not (wrong offset).
Depends on diameter, width, and offset.
E46 wheels (with the exception of M3 rims ) fit perfectly.

Well my official search has now begun for my dream car. looking for a E46 LSB M3 the year doesnt matter to me, the only things im looking for is low miles and mint condition and a 6spd is a MUST...i know its going to be hard to find that but im hoping...
