I recently acquired a Core 2 Quad CPU and an ASUS P5Q3 motherboard on the cheap locally. So, since I already have an older P5Q motherboard and a Core 2 Duo E8500, I thought I'd bench them against each other and see how they compare...

I have just recnetly been turned on to the wonder of SSD drives. Not through personal experience, but thru videos on youtube, that I feel are just as credible. In some cases, they would be using machines that would have been considered good 5 years ago...
