I just purchased a 09 e93 335i convertible 6 speed with nav with 34200 miles. I wanted an extended warranty that Carmax offered at 2000 for up to 100k miles , but called BMW and they sell their platinum certification for $3380 That\'s a pretty hefty price...

Had the dealer work on my car a few times... .
I got the BMW extended warranty on my 325i as its a CPO and its been worth it .
Peace of mind assured.
If its a daily driver then yes if you want to keep the car for a while, then go ahead whit the BMW warranty .

Well, the title says it all. if you don't know what does it mean, well it's your problem lol. Back in 90's when BMW bought Rover group, they got Triumph name along with some other old British sports car makers.
Long story short, They still have the Triumph...

The market for 2 seater....
I think BMW would first have to launch Z2 like car and use that chassis across platforms to even begin to justify the costs .
It'd be interesting to see but I can't imagine them selling all that well .
They died for a reason.

Any latest news on probs with air-conditioning ? My 3 series has continual air con probs and no dealer can seem to fix. Air con works fine for awhile then ESP on long trips about an hour in the fan appears tostop...

Wheels are $799 new and tires are about $150 each .
