What's this all about then?
It's an alternative form of advertising, something that is hopefully more useful to users than just random Google ads or " punch the monkey and win " banners, the latter of which can burn in hell for eternity while being molested...

I think ebay has managed and discredited advertising technique called "bait ....
Since I buy and sell on Ebay I can check what an item is doing on any given day.

What affiliate network are you used? I tried to use CJ in the past but was like a scam, they didn't track my sales and when I claimed for that they started with excuses about the tracking URL was not tracked ok .
