I would go with the x64 standard edition.

You're doing is hosting a web site, why not go with Server 2008 Web Edition for even less money.
I'm trying to test Coldfusion for learning purposes, but I really don't know what is the aditional features that the non-free Enterprise Edition add to the free Developer Edition. Thanks!

I have yet to see a hack or workaround to do this either and I suspect we won't see one, as there probably isn't a huge demand for this type of thing .
Unfortunately there is no official or supported way to do this besides a format and reinstall .

You'll probably want transactional replication or merge ....
You'll need to use a Workgroup or higher server as the middle server that talks to all the other ones .
You'll want to use SQL Server Replication to do that .
Yes you can do that with SQL Express.

You can't do an in-place upgrade from one edition to another, and even if you found a hack.

"Game of the Year" edition is just (GOTY page doesn't say I own the item) and I know I have the GOTY edition, since all the DLC.
I have the GOTY edition, since all the DLC is listed on there.
