I have had serious worries that I picked the wrong secondary school for my son, who started last September, but as all other school are full and with waitinglists, there is nothing I can do at the moment. However, the lack of homework is driving me mad...

I was lazy though.
I help him the concept, the homework isn't going to help.
Frequently with my son, if he has homework in each subject it can be a two to three hour job.

We never got homework at primary school and when i got to highschool I used to brush it off night after night, i honestly dont know how i made it through lol - just crammed b4 the exams i think, I would'nt have made it thru the ncea system they have now...

Our 3rd grade daughter will miss 5 days of school during our upcoming Disney World trip. This is the first time we've ever had a teacher request that she do homework at Disney World.

Skipping a week of homework isn't I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I hated homework in high school personally. Especially if I didn't understand the subject to begin with.
