In Ohio (not sure how other states are handling preschool), school districts rewarding and as school districts are realizing the importance of preschool education, many schools with an extensive background....

DD stays at home with me but she will be 3 soon and I realized if we want her to go to preschool next fall I better get her enrolled soon. I have no clue what to look for. Should I only look at accredited programs? Also, if anyone has any reccomendations...

That's how we found our daycare/preschool.
And then go visit those places.
This is just a personal preference, but I also wanted a preschool that was purely, here, etc.

He is doing begining of the year math sheets unless really motivated .
BUT accademically he is doing some K work now in preschool.
He is developmentally delayed in social maturity.
Back, I wish I had kept him back in preschool.

Preschool is....
MDO is 9-1, we do two or three days a week, depending on what we have going on .
- I teach her a ton at 15 mos., preschool at 3 yrs.
I didn't see the need to do more than 1yr of preschool.
During this time that I SAH.

He goes for kids, especially kids without siblings, to do a preschool/MDO type program.
Right now I have no plans of putting him in preschool until at least 3.

Tuition affordable, but, it's more than double what we could be paying on a more daycare-y preschool? That seems like way too much for me.

Betsy's 3 & 4 year preschool/pre-k is 5 days, being 2 years of formal ....
They're there from 9:15 to 1:15 into Montessori? The ones by us are so flexible with their options .
Jacob's preschool offers a 5 day and 3 day option for 4 year olds.
