If a fertilizied egg has a big dark spot shaped like a map does that mean a baby chick in it.? I have another question, with that spot being there do that even mean the egg is fertilized.

If you are looking inside the egg with a candler or bright light then yes that would seem to suggest the egg is fertile & a chick is developing.
